Cable Printing Machine

(OP)
Hi,
I would like to have a machine that prints numbers and/or letters onto a cable which is 1 mm in diameter. Since the diameter of the plastic cable is very small, I couldn't find a proper machine for this task. The machine is to get the information it will use from a computer. Can anyone tell me where I can find this special kind of printer?
Thanks...

RE: Cable Printing Machine

They are not cheap but you should check out laser marking systems. Check www.atsi-world.com

RE: Cable Printing Machine

Don't know if you are still interested but Sumitomo SEIP (CA) sells what they call a Sumiprint machine that prints a piece of heat shrinkable tubing with the information and the tubing is then shrunk, with a heat torch, to the wire.

Neat machine that does a great job!

RE: Cable Printing Machine

Could you use wire labels from Panduit?
