Manufacturing Diaphragms for audio drivers

(OP)
I am looking for any information that quantifies how to make driver diaphragms using cloth impregnated with phenolic.  Anything on how to determine properties after the forming process. I know the raw phenolic properties and the cloth spec. Any good reference information would be good.

RE: Manufacturing Diaphragms for audio drivers

The usual process uses phenolic resin ( bakelit-A ) with
hexamethylenetetramine  in ethanol -- if I remember correctly.

The properties are controlled by the heat treatment
temperature and time.

The fabric is usually acetate cellulose.
