Output of Shaded Model

Output of Shaded Model

(OP)
We use a lot of image files (jpg, tiff, pdf) from ProE for presentations. We are switching to Wildfire and the quality of the images that Wildfire is generating are inferior to those we have been getting using the same settings with 2001. Are there any tricks or setting adjustments that I can use to improve the quality of the output from Wildfire?

RE: Output of Shaded Model

If you are only using the images for presentations then I would suggest screen snap shots (Alt+ Print Screen/SysRq).  I am not very fond of the .jpg quality delivered by Pro/E export.

Tip:  change the model background to white before taking the screen snapshot, so that when the image is pasted (and cropped)in the presentation the background can be set to transparent.  MSPowerpoint and MSWord picture toolbar have cropping and transparency tools for pasted image.  An image inserted in Powerpoint (for example) is rectangular and the background of one image will cover up detail on the under lying image.  If you set the white background to transparent in either image you can then place the models over one another making a better presentation.

'Hope this helps.

RE: Output of Shaded Model

I USE "SNAG IT" UTILITY.
I AGREE WITH OHIO-30
THE PTC EXPORT TOOL COULD BE BETTER.
