(OP)

Can anyone tell me what an ISO 7 R thread is? I'm thinking that it's just a different name for a BSPT. But I need to be sure.

Thanks in advance.

Steve the dumb question guy.

RE: ISO 7 R threads

Steve,

Try looking at the specification(s) you are referring to:

ISO 7-1:1994 Pipe threads where pressure-tight joints are made on the threads -- Part 1: Dimensions, tolerances and designation (www.iso.ch/iso/en/CatalogueDetailPage.CatalogueDetail?C...)

ISO 7-2:2000 Pipe threads where pressure-tight joints are made on the threads -- Part 2: Verification by means of limit gauges (www.iso.ch/iso/en/CatalogueDetailPage.CatalogueDetail?C...)

Please check the FAQ Where can I get ISO specifications from? (FAQ182-802)

Best regards,
