loading/editing .models in a CATProduct (second try)

loading/editing .models in a CATProduct (second try)

loading/editing .models in a CATProduct (second try)

(OP)
When using V5 on a PC, I load a .model into a CATProduct, using right-click>>Components>>Existing component (see step1.gif

Then I choose right-click on item>>myModel object >> Edit (see step2.gif)

Then the item is expandable to show all of its component elements
(see step3.gif)

Problem is, when I save &close the CATProduct, and reopen it, the expanded structure is gone and I have to redo the work I just did.

Any ideas/information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,
Brian

RE: loading/editing .models in a CATProduct (second try)

Hi,

You don't have to work again. When you open the catproduct is in the visualisation mode (that means you can't see the whole tree). Just point mouse on your catproduct and push the right button mouse to the contextual menu and choose the design mode.

Regards
Fernando
