Fuel Stabilizer Inset/FfuelSaveCo

Fuel Stabilizer Inset/FfuelSaveCo

(OP)
Dear All,

A miracle device called "The Fuel Stabilizer" is promoted from the US (NJ) the Energy Group or Ffuelsaveco (www.energy-group.com). In the past it was sold through Inset.
They claim a lot of benefits in emission and consumption for any size of engine, type of fuel and application (naval/boiler/automotive). Sounds too good to be true! How it works is unknown: it has something to do with aligning the molecules...
More on this: http://skepdic.com/inset.html. EPA tested this device and concluded that there was no effect whatsoever.

However, even official US organisations (i.e. East Chicago High School) are testing this device with positive results!  I spoke with the High School engineers and they were very impressed with the stabilizer. There seems to be an experiment running with diesel school buses.
This product does not have any certification, no pressure testing, etc.!

Can anyone explain how this is possible? How can they market and sell this product to US organisations? Maybe someone can confirm that this device works??

Thank you in advance,

Nico Buis

RE: Fuel Stabilizer Inset/FfuelSaveCo

I'm not sure I would consider a high school as able to conduct a controlled test as the EPA. There have been numerous threads on this subject, and they all come down to one consistent opinion: they don't work. Do a search for other threads related to this subject. The skeptic webpages tells you exaclty how the companies do it: they falsify data, take information out of context to support their claims, hire people to testify on their behalf, take your money, and move on before they get sued.

Only $1600?  I wanna get one.  Maybe 2.  All I have to do is figure out whether to hook them up in parallel or series.  I think they'll help my mini-supercharger work better too-you know, the little plate that fits under the carb. and has tiny propellers in the holes. No stinking fuel injection for me!

RE: Fuel Stabilizer Inset/FfuelSaveCo

Search on keywords "snakeoil" "fraud" "con artist" "bull***t*. They should all throw up a list of long discussions on this and other useless devices.

If only they made one for electric motors, I could hook it to my motor/generator and THEN my perpetual motion machine would work!

RE: Fuel Stabilizer Inset/FfuelSaveCo

With Viagra(TM) at $15/pill I would say Energy Group is missing a much bigger market.  When East Chicago High School tests it and confirms a 75% increase in potency (compared to the population at large) the company will make billions.
