Hello People,
I am currently trying to create a 3D drawing of a substation using ACAD 2003.  Is it possible to convert a group of two-dimensional drawings to a single three-dimensional drawing, or do I have to draw each peice of equipment from scratch in 3 dimensions.

Jagr

RE: 3d ACAD

Unless your group has the same z dimensions, you are going have to region each object and extrude them individially.  You can draw each object and use the region and extrude.  You don't have to draw each object in 3d.  Note that to create holes, use the subtract command after region. Hope this helps - John
