Friends,
What are the various standard procedures of finding coal Gross Calorific value.Which of them are very accurate.Where can I get standard procedures

RE: Friends, What are the various stan

We used a Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter I believe was made by Parr Instruments.

I don't have the current standards but you can check the ASTM index of standards for coal classification.

They are ways to mix, split, and sample a pile of coal. Then ways and means to size and split this sample to a specified size for the calorimeter.

Someone that works for a power plant should have the current standards.
