Looking for info about Steel Corrosion from Sulfides etc.
Looking for info about Steel Corrosion from Sulfides etc.
(OP)
I am looking for information about Steel Corrosion from
sulfur, sulfides, sulphides, sulphates, sulfates; specifically: reactions, methods, chemistry, mechanisms, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look to explore
this topic? I am specifically looking at Carbon steel.
Thank you very much in advance,
MA

If these boys can't help you, chances are no one can - look at www.iisi.org

I've never read this Bruns, but my experiences on anoxic-sulphidic muds show fast transformations that are possibly enhanced by bacterial enzymatic activity [see my paper Zaggia and Zonta (1997)].
Try to get these references and let me know if they were of help. Luca
