SolidWorks API book

SolidWorks API book

(OP)
Does anyone have a good reference for a SolidWorks API book?  One of my co-workers was looking into a SW API training class, however it is a bit pricey (~$1300).  My only worry with a class like this is the first half would be discussing the basics and not very helpful.  Any idea?  Also, if any of you guys (or girls) out there are planning to do any indepth API programming with SW, do NOT use the VBA editor if at all possible.  I took this advice from TheTick and I do not regret getting the full version of VB6.  Just my 2 cents.

Some materials available here.  I have never actually seen the materials, though, so I can't vouch for the quality.

RE: SolidWorks API book

Our API guru agrees with your 2 cents worth.  VBA have definite limitations.

RE: SolidWorks API book

Yes VBA has limitations.  I still like to use it for quick tests or small macros.  I do not need a VB program if all I am doing is toggling dimension names on and off.

My one cent worth,
