AutoCAD 2000 on Win XP MTEXT Problem

AutoCAD 2000 on Win XP MTEXT Problem

Has anyone seen this problem?

I have recently loaded ACAD 2000 on Win XP Pro and have had no problems except that when I underline a portion of the text and save it - all text starting from that portion that I underline is now underlined.

Any clues?

Thanks,

RE: AutoCAD 2000 on Win XP MTEXT Problem

We had this problem also.
It went away when we got R2004.
You can edit the text putting %%U before and after the underlined sections, but this may only work for text objects, not mtext ones.

Yes, I have tried the %%u and it does not work in MTEXT.

Exxit,

Thanks, I loaded services packs 1 & 2 and no change.  I thought it was interesting that they say the "Fix" is to use an external editor.
