Thanks Ben,

but when I want to re-edit a feature, for ex a hole, of an unparametrized model, what should I do?

RE: unparametrized feature

Dynamic modeling (I think it is called)

Use a cylider to plug the original hole, then create a new hole

RE: unparametrized feature

If the hole does not change location, you could edit face->resize face.

RE: unparametrized feature

alf238,

You can reposition the existing unparm hole using MOVE_REGION which feature which will allow you to reposition the feature with it's current size.

RE: unparametrized feature

alf238,
You can try edit-->face-->deleteface
and then select the trim existing
It will remove the unparameterised hole.
Now recreate a new hole,

Thanx,

thank you very much!

RE: unparametrized feature

Alf238,

To point you closer, use Direct Modeling - Move Region. Select the inside of the hole as the "seed face" and the adjoining faces to the one the hole is thru (not the intersecting face) as the "boundary faces". Then, you can use either vector or point to point for the move. It's a very cool tool though somewhat limited if your model gets complex.
