If you mean actual pvc heads, I don't know of any such code.  NFPA 13 mentions PVC and CPVC piping.

If you're asking about PVC fire sprinklers, none exist. At least none exist that are listed for use in a fire sprinkler system.

Sure you could go out to the plumbing store and buy a bunch of lawn sprinkler and install them in the ceiling of a building and rig up some type of detection system, but none of this would be in accordance with NFPA 13 and the Fire Code.

As mentioned earlier, you can supply fire sprinklers with CPVC piping, but the sprinkler itself is brass.
