Photoworks Materials

(OP)
Hello All,

I am looking for any websites which may have either downloads or details of how to get/achieve new materials for Photoworks...(having problems with a dark wood finish!!)

Kind regards,

Paul.

RE: Photoworks Materials

You should be able to do a search for "textures" or "rendering textures" and find some good free stuff on the net.  You could try www.3dcafe.com  If you have a specific texture-material you are looking for and you have access to the material the best way I have found is to simply take a picture of the existing material.  Wood is a little tough because tiling the grain is tricky but once you have the picture you should be able to edit in a photo editor to make it tilable.  PhotoWorks has some stock wood textures.  Have you tired adjusting the luminace and color values to achieve your desired look?
