Residence time for production test

Residence time for production test

(OP)
Greetings,

I am in need of appropriate sources and assumptions to evaluate the residence time needed for producing a shallow sands oil to a test separator already serving test production from a deeper, warmer, less viscous oil.  A cursory look at shallow well rates for oil, water, and gas rates, and the data sheet for the test separator, checked out.

The shallow oil will have a viscosity of ~200 CP vs 22 CP current.  This is the first application to use a conventional test separator with this crude (have been multiphase meters to date).  Watercut will go from very little, to 85%.  So, the stream will go from water out of oil, to oil out of water.  Anti-foam and emulsion breaker will be used to 126 and 52 ppm respectively.  Your comments are appreciated!
