I am looking for assistance in C900

I am looking for assistance in C900

(OP)
I am looking for assistance in C900 PVC pipes. I have done a pressure pipe design for the conveyance of water (max. operating pressure is 160 psi). I shall be using C900 PVC as requested by the appropriate county.

My question is : The 4'' pipe is to be suspended from beams within a building, therefore there is no means of thrust restraint at the bends and/or fittings. In order to accommodate these forces, the pipe needs to be FULLY restrained at ALL joints and such fittings. What is the best method for fully restraining these afore mentioned areas in C900 PVC?

Thank you for your time.

RE: I am looking for assistance in C900

I suggest you start with your local pipe supplier.  They should have some suggestions on proper restraint of hanging pipe.  If they can't help, check your periodicals that advertise various restraint devices.

Do you really want to use PVC pipe inside of a building?  You may want to check your codes.  Ductile iron pipe could be better supported, without less concern about sagging which may occur if PVC is not well supported.  Most PVC pipe is used underground where support is continous
