Modelling a worm gear

(OP)
Hi , I want to know how to model a correct worm gear profile in Pro/e.

Thanks
Maninder

RE: Modelling a worm gear

If you have the drawings of your worm gear, and you have all the details about the teeth, create the cylinder (a protrusion) for the gear shaft, cut the first tooth, and pattern it, and for the warm shaft create the cylinder (a protrusion), cut the first tooth (a helical sweep cut), and pattern it.
