Threaded Pipe unions

Threaded Pipe unions

Threaded Pipe unions

(OP)
I have seen general dimensions for 1-1/2" 3000# SS threaded pipe unions with both the male and female ends with round ends.  Has anyone seen general dimensions for the same fitting but with Hex ends and what the dimenions of the Hex would be?

Thanks

RE: Threaded Pipe unions

MSS SP-83 "STEEL PIPE UNIONS SOCKETWELDING AND THREADED" lists the minimum wall thickness - but does not address the hex dimensions. You could get samples from your local industrial pipe fittings supplier - just be aware that the dimensions may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
