ok i have a bunch of Acad points in a drawing and i couldnt see some of them due to the fact a few are on lines so i set the point style to a circle with an X in it set the size relative to screen and have tried many differnt sizes 30,50,60,90,100%s but with no avail what could i have wrong here???

if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place

RE: Point style not updating existing points!!!

ok here is the deal

im creating a series of blocks that has 1 or more points (points on the defpoints layer)well this is only so i can use the osnap node setting so that i don't go grabing the endpoints or what ever so now i was just fooling around trying to figure out why it wasn't working when i had a thought what if i created a new drawing create a point node then copy clip it to my existing drawing and this worked except that when i went to move it to the defpoints layer it defaulted to a point instead of what i had it set to in point style manager so defpoints doesn't just prevent printing it prevents styles as well hmmmm food for thought

if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place

RE: Point style not updating existing points!!!

Use the keyboard

Use the command pdsize,  the default value is 0

0    Creates a point at 5 percent of the drawing area height
>0    Specifies an absolute size
<0    Specifies a percentage of the viewport size

with pdmode you change the appearance of the point
