DC to DC converter

DC to DC converter

(OP)
I need to design a DC to DC converter which inputs 14 to 17 volts DC and outputs 23 volts at up to 400 ma.

Ive found a couple solutions which come sort of close but they generally look like they might be a little weak power handling. One is based on the MC34063A IC and it might possibly work and the other is the LM1577 but it only goes up to 15 volts.

Low cost is extremely important.

I would greatly appreciate if someone can steer me towards an IC part number and I can take it from there - any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

W.H.
