Pro/Piping

(OP)
Hello!

I have spent a fair effort developing the potential use of PTC's Pro/piping package within my company. I have recently tackled the Specification driven version of this product, also with some success. And there are many difficulties. I have reached the point where the software technical support group is virtually unable to answer my questions and am looking for others to colaborate with in determining the true functionality of this product.

Am I dealing with software bugs and limitations, or my own inexperience using the product when I encounter difficulties these days?

Is anybody else really using this software for production work?

I would like to form an informal reference group for the discussion of problems with the Pro/Piping package, and team up with others faced with the debugging and developement of Pro/Pipe within their companies.

Many thanks for your responses

RE: Pro/Piping

Sounds like a recurring nightmare I was having a while back. What kinds of functions would you like it to perform? Have you familiarized yourself with the lingo? e.g.; "parametric capability", etc.  ..... I may be able to answer then.

The real trick is sifting through all of that free advice they're so eager to offer
