I have been given the task of figuring out a control equation.

I have a flowmeter in a line and the setpoint is in ppm.  Any ideas on where I can start.  I figure it is something like:

Flow = Flow Measurement x ppm x y, but I am unsure what "y" could be.

RE: process control

gill78,

Can you give more information about your problem....  Assume by PPM you mean part per million and NOT lbs per minute.  What kind of flowmeter, mass or volume?  What kind of control scheme are you looking to setup?

Regards,

Matt

Matt,

thank you for the request on info.

I have been taken off this task as the info was already there and nobody had realised it.

Regards,

Gill78
