ET-PDS toshiba PLC software

Hi,

I have to use an old piece of software called ET-PDS to speak to some Toshiba PLC's Has anyone else ever used this software?

How do I upload from the PLC to the PC? Do I need to make a project first? If I just click "Upload main program" is this all the data I need?

Would like to know if I'm the only person out here that has ever seen this software?

Cheers

Nick

RE: ET-PDS toshiba PLC software

Hi,

I have used this software but just cannot think on how to do at this very moment. I can verify it later today. I used it intensivly. I have just not used it for about 2 years now.

Hi murrytech,

Good to hear from you, I was starting to think I was the only person ever to have seen this software.

I have uploaded the program from the PLC and ET-PDS creates a number of files with a sequential labelling system, not sure why it dose this I gather it my be trying to avoid making files that are too big but the files it dose make are only 14K.
Next problem is how to re-combine these files.

Ultimate objective here is to store a back up copy of the program and print a copy of the program.

Cheers Nick
