I've recently noticed, on 2003 sp5 that I cant make exe edrawings.  I made the edrw in sw, then openend in edrawing viewer, then tryed to saveas, but dont get a dialog box to changed it from edrw to exe.  Has anyone seen this happen.  And didnt it used to be seamless directly from sw to make an exe?

RE: making exe drawings-from edrawing, I cant saveas anymore

There was an icon to generate e-drawing within the solidworks environment.
I have nothing but issues with e-drawings.  Sometimes I create an e-drawing and it will not animate.  E-drawings always crashes when I close it.  If I try to zoom to window, the viewing area goes white.  These are probably hardware issues.

Oh well, excuse my rant.

Thanks for the reply.  Issues dont get resolved without rants. I've even reloaded the edrawings again, and that brought "publish edrawings" back to my SW screen.

Solved!  I needed to get service pack 05 for edraawings,  which would only show up on the subscription website, if you put in that you were upgrading solidworks form sp3.
It fixed all the issues.
