Catia Installation

Catia Installation

Catia Installation

(OP)
Hi

I appreciate that this question has been asked many times before but i can't find the answer anywhere and it's driving me crazy!

I have Catia V5R7 on CD-ROM, from installing straight off the CD i get an error message telling me that it cannot load a file called JS0SPEXT.dll from a WIN folder. This seems funny as there is no "WIN" folder but the file in question is in a folder called "Intel".

I used all available brain power and copied the whole CD to my hard drive and re-named the "INTEL" folder "WIN". There is now no error message regarding JS0SPEXT.dll but a different one telling me that it cannot load  CATSysMultiThreading.dll. I'm running Win 98, 650Mhz AMD processor, 256MB RAM.

Any help from you guys would be massively appreciated.

RE: Catia Installation

Your CD is for NT, not for Win 98

Cheers. Just installed WinXP and it works fine now.

And no, IBM don't know anything, right!
