RE: Radial Rivets

The process is variation of the orbital riveting technique that has been around for a while.
The difference is in the tool motion. The orbital is what it says it is and radial is rosette pattern.
We were quite successful in using the orbital machines for build in Aluminum ducts.  The biggest advantage on our part was less protrusion of the rivet on the set end.   It looked a lot better also.
It is my understanding that you get better sets with the radial. Smaller with full strength or spread out for a lower profile.

I would get on the net and contact several manufacturers, get there brochures and get some talking points concerning your intended use and then RFQ.
