I have spreadsheet also.
If you like we can further discuss.

(1)  what is limit of steel thickness to span    
(2)  what kind of bolts do they really get at the lumber yards...no doubt unclassified stuff... What is the minimum type generally sold?.  The bolts are never marked.
(3)  Do you remove the area of holes in the analysis and figure a new Moment of Inertia and Section, or this too detailed.
(4)  Are the plates A36 or A992.  What allowable stress do you use for the plate.
