Thermal conductivity of epoxy paint

Thermal conductivity of epoxy paint

Thermal conductivity of epoxy paint

(OP)
Has anyone ever seen an authoritative reference to the thermal conductivity of a typical epoxy paint used on marine structures.

RE: Thermal conductivity of epoxy paint

howkes;
Seems a very hard nut to crack! :) (Papers).
Try the link http://www.han-padron.com/papers/RHO2.pdf
(15 pages) and hopefully a further link.

Research of course is also regularly done by The Colorado School of Mines.
Maybe they have something leading to a solution.

If you send and email to the technical department at SP systems, they will be able to tell you theirs resins thermal conductivity, I guess most epoxys are more or less conductive.

Very nice to have a reply on such an oldie!
There are some more questions posted by me and pending a reaction.
Reading and reading again makes anyone more eager to READ AGAIN I hope.
Thank you.
