Hi All,
Previously, on my old machine I had to included something in config.pro to make previews of the parts visible as solids when opening a part w/ product view exress. Now all I get are wireframes and I am not able to see them ass solids.
Since my harddrive had to me reformatted I dont know/find the lines that I had to include in config.pro to view the parts in solid, wireframe and hidden. And I am not able to view the part dwgs also. So, do I need to include somemore lines to make it work?
Could you guys please tell me what I need to do to see the parts as solids on product view express.
By the way I am using pro/e 2001 and product view express wildfire.
 Thanks.

RE: product view

Check out http://www.ptc.com/products/pvexpress/faq.htm#g13. You need to add the config.pro option save_model_display (set to shading_lod). You will need to restart Pro/E with the new config setting, and you will need to resave any files that you want to view with ProductView Express with the new config option. Worked for me (also on Pro/E 2001, Wildfire defaults to this value in the config file).

Gee. thx. :),
I had totally forgotten that I had posted a question.
 Thanks, it really works.
I had to play around a bit to make it work. I didnt know how to set it, but then I tried a couple of things and now it works perfectly.
