Linking ACAD to Excel

Linking ACAD to Excel

(OP)
I was looking for a solution for linking an Excel file into ACAD2002.  Tried using blocks and attributes but can't get anything to work.  Thanks in advance for any help.

RE: Linking ACAD to Excel

You can just use windows copy and paste into Acad as an OLE object.  This can have some severe limitations.  You may want to checkout some third party utilities like those that can be found at: www.dotsoft.com.

I have been extremely happy with their Toolpac product, and frequently use it's utilities to link excel sheets.

RE: Linking ACAD to Excel

try www.cadaddon.com for their AutoXIs Table 2.31 .  Very strong.
