EMI properties of carbon laminates?

EMI properties of carbon laminates?

EMI properties of carbon laminates?

(OP)
Can anybody shed some light on the EMI properties of typical carbon/epoxy laminates. Is additional screening such as flame/arc spraying, or nickel coated carbon veils or metallic meshes really required, or is the carbon laminate sufficient for EMI screening.

Additionally, should a carbon laminate enclosure have a metallic lid, does one have to add conductive o-rings etc for full EMI shielding.

Any sources of info? Thanks
