Modifying training program to meet NCA3800

Modifying training program to meet NCA3800

(OP)
I need to modify my training/qualification policies to meet the requirements of NCA3800.  Specifically, the records that show proof of training, experience, scope of qualifications. ISO 9002 was simple, On-The-Job training was sufficient.

1) What records/documents are necessary for ASME NCA3800 to show the training?
2) Could I have them study the QA Manual and then quiz?
3) Is it enough to read to them the quality manual sections that pertain to them; and keep a record of attendance?

We have no 'special processes' that require independent certification.  We're a metal distributor with forging capability.  No welding, or heat treating on the premises.

I would have posted under mechanical engineering quality, but this forum seemed more appropriate.
