I-DEAS NX Problem

I-DEAS NX Problem

I-DEAS NX Problem

(OP)
Hi ppl,
I am using I-deas10 NX on HP 2GB workstation. Moving from Master Drafting to Master Assembly or Modler and vice versa is a regular operation needed for an I-deas user. But currently I am facing a big problem even in that.
While working on huge asseblies if I move from 'Master Drafting'to 'Master Assembly' I-deas hangs. If I close the I-deas application immediately then it gets closed without affecting any other application that is opened on the machine. But if I wait for a couple of minutes after I-deas hanged then it hangs all other applications. If I try to open any new application (e.g. Internet explorer and the likes)it says "insufficient resources to complete this service". And I remain with the only option of restarting the machine.
Please communicate any relevant information that will be useful for me and all, in this regard.
Thank you.

RE: I-DEAS NX Problem

I hate to tell you this but you need either more ram, swap space, or both.

Try loading only the essential items in your assembly.
