SCS Storm Types

SCS Storm Types

SCS Storm Types

(OP)
As you probably know, the SCS, now NRCS, developed four storm types ( hyetographs ) for 24 hour storms in the US in the 1970s.  These are documeneted briefly in TR-55.

Does anyone know where to find the detailed documentation for these storm types ?  If it is a public document (likely) is it still in print ?

I'm very much interested in the methodology used by SCS and the reasoning behind the adoption of each storm type for various regions of the US.
