Is it possible to export apparent tabular data from AutoCAD 2000 to an excel spreadsheet to assist in manipulation of this data?

RE: Export tabular data from AutoCAD to excel.

What do you mean "apparent tabular data"?  From a Bill of Materials or what?

That sort of thing, yeah. Materials schedules, bending schedules!

To extract any text - Attribute-nestedblock-text from Acad to Excel:
Demo version free from
www.homescript.com

Unfortunately the reverse function - from excel to replace text in autocad - is not free.

Hope this helps.

Hi:

You should try www.CADminer.com. Stand-alone CAD extraction tool with lots of capabilities. Also, tt can work both ways, which I think is what you're looking for (data extraction to Excel and Excel to ACAD).
