(OP)
Hey everyone,

i've been trying to set up Project Server 2002 on my Pc for evaluation. I'm running SQL Serer 7.0 running on MS Windows Server 2000, and my server's a dual 1.3Ghz, 4GB RAM, 200Gb machine.

I've manually set up the SQL dBase using the SQL scripts that come with the evaulation software, and they all go through without a hitch. After that, i've installed the Project Server, and that goes through fine as well - working off the users set up with the beforementioned scripts.

So, everything's up and running, and I'm able to get into the login interface. However, i login as UID: Administrator, PWD: password (the account & password that server creates and is able to find). However, I get a 5016 error:

"Your account does not have permissions to log on. You need to change the account in your profile or contact your server administrator to give your account permissions to log on to this server. (5016)"

I've checked the rights in SQL server, and can log in and have access using this login (and also other users assigned to the msp_ServerRole role).

I've done everything i can and can't work it out. Someone please help!!!

How do you get around a 5016 error??

Thanks!
-Andrew
