CUT CONDITIONS FOR CORIAN

CUT CONDITIONS FOR CORIAN

HAS ANYONE CUT 1/2 OR 3/4" CORIAN?  IF SO, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF YOU COULD SHARE CUT CONDITIONS.  I CUT 1/2" FREQUENTLY, BUT CAN ONLY ACHIEVE 10 IPM; ANY FASTER AND THE EDGE TAPERS IN TOO MUCH AT THE BOTTOM OF IT.  ANY ADVICE GIVEN IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I HAVE A MAZAK STX SUPER TURBO 1.5K. PRESENTLY I USE 800 WATTS WITH AIR.

THANKS

Carbide blades.  I have fabrication details at home but will not be there for a couple of weeks.

John,

thanks for the input...the only problem is that we have to hold the tolerances within .003" for numbers between 100-500 pcs. per lot.

thanks anyway!!!
