PP and Concrete

(OP)
Forum folks,

I am after some perfomance information for polypropylene material used in the construction industry.

I want to use PP (fibres) in concrete and want some idea of its design life. PP is inert and unaffected by alkalis but is there any long term 50years + data to show that PP in concrete is OK.

The manufacturers all seem to be rather short on info.

Thanks for you help!

RE: PP and Concrete

PP only came into common use in the 70's (I think it was developed inthe mid 60's), so I doubt that there is any 50 years data avaliable.

Regards
pat
