Hi all,

I am a new user of Pro/MECHANICA, and I am wondering how to control elements size in Integrated Mode when you mesh the model.

Thanks in advance!

RE: change element size in Integrated Mode

Anny,

If you are a maintenance paying customer, a great source of information is the PTC "Knowledge Base". Look under the Support Tools heading on:
www.ptc.com/support/support.htm

There is recommended practice detailed on the site. To summarize, you need to introduce geometry that forces elements to be created at certain features. The recommended practice is to use surface regions and/or volume regions although using curve features and points created in Pro/MECHANICA can work as well.

The link to the Knowledge Base is in the FAQ Pro/MECHANICA internet resources (FAQ828-702).
