Heidenhain Parameters

Heidenhain Parameters

Heidenhain Parameters

(OP)
I have a Deckel/Maho 600W cnc mill with Heidenhain TNC 370 control. The machine was origionally set up as a horizontal but is now set up as a vertical machine to utilise the toolchanger. My problem is that when the machine references the now Y axis (formerley Z axis) moves first. If the machine produces a Gross Positioning Error when a cutter in in a job I have great difficulty removing it as the now Y axis will reference first. Is there a parameter that will change tho order in which the axis will reference?.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Heidenhain Parameters

Tony,
Ask this question direct to Heidenhain.
Unlike people like Fanuc who charge for every parameter change even though it's in the machine, Heidenhain are very helpful and open.
