Help with fanuc 18i series parameters

Help with fanuc 18i series parameters

Help with fanuc 18i series parameters

(OP)
Hello
I am trying to find out what parameter I need to enable use of the real time clock for macro programming. The machine is a Muratec MS6 Lathe with fanuc 18i control.
Thanks,
Bob

RE: Help with fanuc 18i series parameters

Bob-

Are using system variable #3012 ?

it should give you the time in 24 hour format HHMMSS

4:12:32 PM would return 161232

Variable #3011 should give you the current date YYYYMMDD

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I have been able to use the macro program options and #3012 on several of the machines with great results, however I still have 3 lathes that I cannot get to the macro's. I was told a parameter had to be enable to allow use of the macro variables. If anyone has this information It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

not sure i can look in my books on monday and post back late monday night.  But there is a quicker way you can call Fanuc at 1-888-fanucusa and ask them and they will tell you..
