Limit Tol. for Palette feature

Limit Tol. for Palette feature

(OP)
Hi all - brand new to this site, and ex-Pro/e user.  We are implementing things, creating 'udf's' - - err, I mean
palette features.  We need note(annotation) callouts for our drawings that are associative to the hole feature dims.  But we can't get the 'dimension ID name' to show a limit tol dimension value, even after I physically change the dim to a limit tol.  Anyone know how to do this?  We asked Support 8 weeks ago, and no answer back, yet.  Software limitation?

RE: Limit Tol. for Palette feature

1.  Who is "Support"?  I'm assuming it is your VAR? - it should be.  If they have literally not got back to you (at all) by now, go and stomp all over them.  You are paying for support, yes?

2.  This may be a dumb comment in your case, so forgive me if it is, but make sure you read up all the help on SW methodology for this concept rather than trying to duplicate a Pro-E methodology.  It's a common pitfall when changing CAD systems in general.

3.  If it is something lacking rather than a bug then go to the SW website and put in an enhancement request.  This you do directly with SW. Bug reports got through the VAR and SW will not accept them directly.  I'm not defending the logic(?) of this, just letting you know.  At least with an ER you get a response that shows some Engineer has actually read it.

3/4 of all the Spam produced goes to Hawaii - shame that's not true of SPAM also.......
