vertical breaks
vertical breaks
(OP)
I've been trying to add a vertical break to a long extrusion. I can get the break inserted the first time and everything looks great. The issue is 2 fold. If you try to edit the length of the part and then update the drawing it does not update correctly. The second part is I haven't found a way to add more than 1 vertical break.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

RE: vertical breaks
I have run into the same problem. I am not sure of a good fix, but try unbreaking the view and updating then breaking the view again. I have had to reinsert a new view in some cases. You can add more breaks by clicking on the view, then go under insert pulldown and then vertical break. Repeat this for more breaks. What happens sometimes is the breaks will come in over to one side, off the part. You have to get them and drag them on your part.
RE: vertical breaks
As for more than one break - That is a limitation and will require an Enhancement Request.
DHALE1 - If your getting more than one break per view... I would like to know how your doing this, because I to only get the option of one break per view.

RE: vertical breaks
Insert your first break and then before doing anything else go and insert another break. Make sure that you have the drawing view selected. It should work.
I'm still having issues with it updating correctly when you change the length though
RE: vertical breaks
RE: vertical breaks
"Cannot insert a break in this drawing view. There is no room left due to the size of the other breaks or the break overlaps with another break."
RE: vertical breaks
That is a limitation from what I can tell here.
