CAM PROBLEM??????

CAM PROBLEM??????

CAM PROBLEM??????

(OP)
Hi. I begin using a CAM software, but when I generate the G-code, there are some instrucction the no run in the CNC machine. So I must correct the G code manually.

Is this a comun problem????

What can I do?

Any help I'll apreciate.

RE: CAM PROBLEM??????

Whose software are you using? Did you configure the post processor for your machine or did you use a generic one that came with the program?

Hi looslib.

I configure the post processor but the problem is the same.

RE: CAM PROBLEM??????

What software are you using?

What G codes are being put into the file that your control doesn't like?

What machine control are you programming for?

RE: CAM PROBLEM??????

What CAM software are you using? What machine are you posting the program to? Specifically, what code will the machine not read??

RE: CAM PROBLEM??????

(OP)
The program that I'am using is CAMWORKS 2001 Plus. The machine control is FANUC O-OM and the code tha not read is
T02 M06. I mus change the order of the instruction to M06 T02 (if I want to use #2 tool)

RE: CAM PROBLEM??????

You should be able to alter your post processor so that it outputs tool change commands in the order you need. Contact your Camworks reseller, they can either modify the post processor for you or advise you on how to do it.
