To use the WAVE Geometry Linker in UG NX, the resource control Assemblies_AllowInterPart: yes must be set in UG_english.def file. Can anyone explain to me (step by step)how can I do that? Thanks!

RE: UG_english.def file

First, you must be logged in as administrator.  You then locate the UG english file (on my computer it is "Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\UGII\ug_english.def").  Open this file, scroll down (or use edit-find: wave geometry) until you see the section on interpart modeling.  You then set the toggle "Assemblies_AllowInterPart: yes".  After the change is made, EDS recommends you verify that the change is correct by running 'ug_validate -g ug_english.def'.
Before I make ANY changes to the ug_english file, I save a copy of the original as backup.  I hope this helps!
