Flat pattern of rolled 6mm sheet steel

Flat pattern of rolled 6mm sheet steel

Flat pattern of rolled 6mm sheet steel

(OP)
Not a great description for a small problem,
2 of us tried to fix this one on 2 different machines.
created an extrud thin from an arc 6mm Thick
(sheet metal)
it is 2221mm long
when rolled into a circle has a diameter of 695 inside
150mm high
on 2 machines running 2003 sp5 we tried to unfold it to a flat pattern.
but all we ended up with was a piece of material 150high(correct height) X 8MM long
x 6mm thick?????
any ideas
we followed the in structions in the help menu but no go!!!!??!
thanks in advance

RE: Flat pattern of rolled 6mm sheet steel

I had one instance where SW spontaneously changed a band radius.  It forced a default radius onto a bend that had larger radius.

Go to the sheet metal feature "Flatten-Bends1" and check the radius of the bend under that feature.  Perhaps SW forced the default radius onto that bend.  If so, try linking that bend's dimension to the radius of the original extrusion via "link values" or equations.
