Does anyone could tell me the diff. between MIL-PRF-7024E and MIL-F-7024?

RE: Aero fuel system calibrating fluid

Shell sells a calibration fluid to mil-prf-7024E at site below but have no reference to mil-f-7024. I think your best bet would be to contact Shell aviation products and ask them what the differences are.

RE: Aero fuel system calibrating fluid

Technically, there is no difference; only the "name" the spec has been changed; a lot of MIL specs are renamed as -PRF- (=performance)instead of earlier names as -L-; -H- etc..
Following my info, there is no problem continuing fluid identified in the old way, of course as long as the storage date is still valid.
