Revision table

Revision table

Revision table

(OP)
Hey-Is there a way to modify the Revision table in 04. I’m trying to set up two custom tables, one for Pre-Production Started with “XA” (then XB…) and Second for production started with “– “ (then A…). I’ve tried modifying and saving templates but I’m not having much luck. I don’t understand how the default template is made, so if someone has messed with this and knows more I’d appreciate any info
Thanks

RE: Revision table

Far as I know, you are in trouble. You can have SW use either a number or alpha as the revision identifier. But that is drawing based, and not system based.

You could have a seperate drawing template for numbers and another for letters if one didn't want to switch, but that isn't your problem.

I would think you are stuck to fixing it manually. If you insert the revision table, and all the revision triangles (or whatever) for that revision, you can change the rev indicator in the table and all the triangels will change.

Otherwise, I'm lost too....

RE: Revision table

I agree with MrPickles.
FYI...per drafting stds, dwgs should be numerical for preliminary (engnieering build) then go to alpha (starting with "A" (production build).
