I want to know the difference between cum/hr & Ncum/hr in air compressor capacity

RE: air compressor

Cu.m/hr flow rate refers to the flow rate at the temperature and pressures specified by you. Normal flow rate refers to the flow rate calculated at 00C temperature and 1.013 Bar pressure. Standard flow rate refers to flow rate calculated at 15.50C temperature and 1.013 Bar pressure.

Here is an interesting link (but the flow rates are in cfm)

Regards,

Believe it or not : Had we trusted Archimedes and assigned him the work of lifting the earth(or any mass equivalent to that of earth on earth),with a lever of suitable length, it would have taken him 23 million million years to lift the earth by one centimeter.

RE: air compressor

Good summary by Quark.

I will add that lots of people will say cubic metres per hr when they mean actually mean normal or standard conditions (we get it here all the time) and just don't specify that.

It's always a good idea to confirm that especiallyy if it's a number that is going to affect your project.  Confirm also the pressure/temperature basis.  There are several pressure bases used throughout the industry depending who you talk to and what their background is, they aren't all 1 atm/14.696 psia.
