Sweep

Sweep

(OP)
I have a cable .25 diameter that I need to sweep at a certain length and one 2.0" radius. When I use sweep, the 3Dsketch is drawn at R2.0", but the modeled swept cable is created at a much bigger radius. Is there something I'm missing? I have tried all combinations in the sweep feature. I have never have a problem having it follow the specified path until now. thanks

RE: Sweep

first create the sweep path then create a plane perpendicular to that plane lieing one endpoint.
then create the .25dia circle. align the circle center point to end of the path curve.
then sweep.
it is working perfectly.
main thing is u have to coincide the circle cen point with start point of curve.
